At St. Bernard Christian Academy, we’re excited to unveil our dynamic and enriching curriculum plan for the upcoming school year. As we continue to nurture young minds in a faith-based Christian atmosphere, we’re committed to providing an exceptional educational experience.

ELA WITH MCGRAW HILL'S WONDERS (K-5TH) & SYNC (6TH-8TH)

STATE APPROVED.

Wonders is an evidence-based ELA program designed for elementary students (grades K - 5). It empowers students to take an active role in learning and exploration. Students build knowledge while exploring our world through literacy. They engage in reading, writing, and speaking activities. Wonders emphasizes foundational skills like phonics, spelling, and fluency. StudySync is a comprehensive ELA curriculum for middle students (grades 6 - 8). It brings literature to life through multimedia-rich content. StudySync provides tailored instruction for every learner with digital scaffolds.

SCIENCE & SOCIAL STUDIES WITH BOB JONES UNIVERSITY PRESS

The BJU Press science program equips students to ethically engage in scientific work. It teaches science content from an ethical perspective based on a biblical worldview. The BJU Press elementary heritage studies program guides students in analyzing historical events, world cultures, and primary sources from a biblical worldview.

SPORTS & MUSIC

MATH WITH MCGRAW HILL'S REVEAL MATH (K-8TH).

Reveal Math drives conceptual understanding and mastery in the classroom. It’s a balanced core curriculum that combines both activity-based and teacher-guided instructional strategies. Reveal Math ensures that every student receives an enhanced, cohesive learning experience throughout their K–8 journey.

BIBLE WITH BOB JONES UNIVERSITY PRESS (K-8TH)

The BJU Press elementary Bible program bridges the gap between head knowledge and heart knowledge. It guides students as they study, interpret, and apply a biblical worldview. Throughout the BJU Press high school Bible program, students (6th - 8th) explore and develop skills for Bible literacy and study. They consistently apply biblical principles to real-life situations and learn to communicate their beliefs effectively.

STEM

We’re thrilled to introduce an exciting STEM initiative. Through hands-on experiments, problem-solving challenges, and innovative projects, students will explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math.
